Drop-In Classes
My Morning Out Drop-In classes meet daily Monday-Friday from 8:30-12:00, with several different options available for attendance. All classes use the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, Twos and Preschoolers where activities are planned by teachers to meet the needs of individual children as well as the group.
Guppies
Guppies are infants from 6 weeks-12 months. Babies follow their feeding and napping schedule as at home. While awake the MMO staff engages them in developmentally appropriate activities. They can explore colorful toys, shape sorters, walking toys, and developmentally appropriate sensory activities. Guppies can ride in strollers and play outside on nice days.
Minnows
Minnows are young toddlers from 12 months-20 months who are mobile, and need more time and availability for movement. MMO teachers will provide children with snack as child desires (not limited to once a morning). Sensory activities will be provided, creative art opportunities, developmentally appropriate large motor activities, outdoor walks and playground play, weather permitting.
Goldfish
Goldfish range in ages from 20-24 months. They are ready to enter into the world of sand/water play, free art, and come together as a group for snack. Children will be given opportunities to choose from various developmentally appropriate activities each day. They will enjoy their outdoor time on the playground, outdoor art, riding toys, etc. as weather permits.
Jellyfish
Older Twos through Fours will enjoy the Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers on a drop-in basis, according to a schedule chosen by parents. Children who are registered for MMO Preschool may join the Jellyfish on days they’re not attending preschool, and will be charged the hourly rate.
